Mary and Chris had a very sweet little back yard wedding at their home in Chatsworth California. I photographed their wedding when I was transitioning frm the editorial world to the wedding world. The ode to American Gothic image we made is still one of my favs. 

They kept things pretty simple except that they built a deck over the pool so that they could accommodate dining tables for their nearest and dearest. I was there to cover a little bit of prep, a first look, portraits, the ceremony and a bit of the vibe after. The rest of their night was captured by close film industry friend's of Chris's. 

This is a pretty good idea if you are on a super tight budget. These days, I don't usually do weddings less than 6 hours, but I do have associates that work with me and if you'd like to talk about a book the studio option, let me know.
