“My goal is to do a photo session in our front yard/on our front porch. I sort of envision a mix of posed and candids, with a wardrobe change (basically one look where we get fancy, because why not) and then one in jammies or sweats for the #instagram vs. #reallife ultimate quarantine Holiday Card! Right now it's just our family of 4 and a dog, so prob a family session or mini session would work. We have a 9 year old and 5 year old (in past years the 5 year old has gotten to his "done" point after about 30 mins). There is a chance grandparents might join us for a few weeks in the Fall so depending on our/your/their dates they could also join for some photos.

We love the afternoon magic hour look and time slot too!

2020! Family portraits were a big hit this year :)

They had planned to attend a bunch of weddings and events and then we were all told to stay home for two weeks, then a month.. then, well- you know, so they dressed up anyway and made the most of things. I’m thrilled with how these photos turned out and I can easily imagine a beautiful gallery wall in an entry or staircase. This collection would make a lovely little book to send to family too.

We did a second session in casual clothes too at La Loma Bridge and The Arroyo in Pasadena.

*The 5 year old did not run out of energy. He was super excited to see a nice face and brought a ton of fun energy to the shoot.
